I was thinking aboub buying a stock used LED for $450. I have some questions about it...
1. Is it true that Angels are like Spyders, but with a solenoid.
2. Do they use standard paintball gun oil?
3. How much maintnence do they require?
4. Do they chop paint alot? And would a 12 volt Revy with X-Board be enough to keep up with the ROF?
5. I know the LED is an older model Angel, but will Angel LCD parts and upgrades go on the LED?
6. How good is the stock Jacko Infinnity barrel?
7. Would a Crossfire 47ci/3000psi nitrogen system be good enough or would the gun require a better system?

I use to own one so let me see if I can help u
1. Night and day difference...
2. Not sure, just buy the WDP love juice or whatever it is.
3. I hardly ever worked on mine and it shot fine
4. Mine never chopped for about a year or so, but towards the end of its life it started acting up... take it to a good shop for a tune up and u should have zero problems.
5. Most LCD parts will not work I believe... I could be wrong
6. The jacko barrel and the Infinity barrel are different... both are good barrels.
7. I don't know alot about nitro systems but I assume so? I run a Nitroduck 68CI 4500 psi
If you buy one, I highly recomend you get a sick trigger job on it by someone who knows what they are doing...
good luck

Ohh Ohh, I love questions,
1. Is it true that Angels are like Spyders, but with a solenoid.
Uh, no. The spyder differs in almost every department.
2. Do they use standard paintball gun oil?
I don't know what kind of oil you would consider "standard", but WDP cautions you NOT to use hydrocarbon based oils, such as WD40, Vaseline, Duck oil, or 3in1. Use synthetic oil only, a suitable oil would be love juice, or warpedsportz motion lotion.
3. How much maintnence do they require?
The only skill you will need to take care of your angel, is the ability to oil it and clean the outside of it. They are very LM.
4. Do they chop paint alot? And would a 12 volt Revy with X-Board be enough to keep up with the ROF?
Most angels chop paint very little. The hopper you use depends on how fast you can shoot, if you can shoot above 14 bps, get something faster. I can't remember the max ROF on the LED, but it's something like 16, so if you maxed out your angel, your Rev wouldn't keep up, but like I said, depends on how fast you can shoot.
5. I know the LED is an older model Angel, but will Angel LCD parts and upgrades go on the LED?
Some LCD parts are interchangeable, some are not. To find out exactly what parts are reverse compatible with the LED, run a search, I'm sure it's been discussed before.
6. How good is the stock Jacko Infinnity barrel?
The Infinity is a good barrel, but it depends on what kind of paint you use. If you use larger or smaller bore paint, you might consider getting a larger or smaller bore barrel.
7. Would a Crossfire 47ci/3000psi nitrogen system be good enough or would the gun require a better system?
It would be possible to use a 47 3000 on an angel, as you can use any preset system with them. However, with the increased ROF, you will probably tend to shoot more, and thusly run out of air more quickly with a 47 3000. A more versatile size would be 68 4500, but it depends on how much you shoot, and how often you want to refill.
Go for it, buy the LED, you'll love it. In fact, you'll get so addicted to the speed and trigger feel that you will never be able to shoot another marker again as long as you live.

Since were talking about LED I also just got one. My question is how good is the stock infinity barrel is it worth upgrading? What are some good barrels to look into?

BUY THE LED!!!!the #1 reason I bought mine(98 Dark LE) is because it shoots ****ty paint just as deadly as good paint. And thats what you want if yu have to use field paint at other places such as tournys.I have a 14"Freak AA tip,14" Dye boomstick and a 14" Infinity barrel. All are very deadly, the Freak shoots thru paint,I don't carry a squeegie anymore.
