what about b2's? and can you hook one up to an a1?

Unfourtanetly A1's do NOT have intellifeed.

empire reloader b is the same thing as a b2 except the b2 has a different board... same motor/harness setup... so yes, b2 is compatible...

If the A1 had intellifeed it would work but it doesnt. You can make your own and get it to work but will probably void your warranty.

Am I missing something here? I could've sworn i didn't say anything about the a1 having intellifeed...
What I did say however, was all pretaining to his first question in the quote...

I never tested the MT Intellifeed B2. I kinda doubt it would work though. You would have to hook it in to the microphone side of the curcuit. That would take a small amount of voltage to activate the board. Intellifeed does not have any voltage on the loader side of the curcuit.

My fault, didn't realilize you skipped the second part of the question.

- A1 with stock board can't use intellifeed. Most other Angel models can though.
- Hoppers that can be intellifeeded are:
Revo
EVOI/II/II
Quantum (I guess, but why bother...)
HALO TSA
HALO B
Reloader A/B1/B2
Pulse (but most would use the RF "intellifeed" instead)
Apache (various models)
Tippmann Triumph
I'm guessing that the Vlcity could also be rigged up for intellifeed but it would probably lose some functions.
Also I have no idea how the Kingman Speed hopper works!!!
Of all these, the easiest to intellifeed are the old Revos. But the same principle also works for EVOII, although if you got a Z-board you lose some functions.

Farg,
I'm pretty sure the Reloader's will not work with Intellifeed. You would need some sort of signal to "trip" the board. Intellifeed is not powered on the loader side. Hence my doubts.

Mavrick, it all depends on how you define intellifeed.
These hoppers I'm talking about are just "empty shells" devoid of board and any advanced electronics with new wiring inside and a few simple electronic components, and sometimes still with batteries in the hopper. They're not technically HALOs or REloaders anymore but something else that just look like it.
Over here in Sweden there have been several ways people have done this. Most of the ones I've seen or worked on remove the board altogether and replace it with a resistor and an on/off and windup button plate. This would be no different with a Reloader than a HALO B, in fact it probably would work the same on a Pulse also.
Battery power can be either from the gun or as in most of these cases, taken off the battery pack in the hopper, but with re-drawn wiring and perhaps a simple transistor enhancing the signal imput from the gun.
But why bother? I just don't see the point anymore.
I put a Speed wheel in my Reloader and greased the drive belt, and bang! It was sick fast! And broke far less paint. Way faster than any gun ever needs to shoot during games.
Also, if you want real speed just for bragging rights nothing really beats the Q-loader anyway, no matter what you do to a standard hopper.

Just for kicks we took a 3/4 inch PVC pipe 12 feet long and stuck it into the feed neck. Loaded it up with 200+ rounds and hoisted the mast. Just straight weight drop into the chamber. That was sick fast!!

I bet it was. lol
But I'd classify it as a feedneck rather than a hopper.
Put a hopper on top of that sucker and it's my old Skyrise idea made real. But it's supposed to be high enough so the paint can't hit it.
