I have a G7 and i am currently playing in a UAPL series with my team.. in one of the games i had my gun pulled from a ref just for the game. he pulled it for "overshooting" as the rule is uncapped semi. i had it capped at 22 bps, with a TR of 1 (which is the lowest possible)!!!! i made it legal tempararily because i capped it at 14 for the day. it still somewhat 'ramped' up to the 14 obviously because i can pull that fast. my question is how can i get my g7 to actually shoot semi, and not add in shots at all?

It all depends on your trigger setup. I recommend a long/loose trigger pull with activation in the middle or towards the back, and back magnet removed.
What is happening to you is your trigger activation is probably to far forward or the trigger is too tight. When you release the trigger it is bouncing enough to activate the trigger again.
what software do you have?

If you have software version g1.5a on your board.
You can raise the MDB (mechanical debounce settings)
This could also help to filter out some of those extra shots.

yea adjust your trigger for more pull and put the activation in the middle. this alone will probably solve your problem. if you do have 1.5 the mba will work too.

i actually like my trigger loose, so it has a lot of pull. the activation point is in the middle or the back, no where near the front, so it cant be inducing bounce. that cant be the problem. i must just need new software you guys are talking about. where can i find the link cable from the computer to my gun, and the download link online?

you cant. you have to have one of the techs do it. check what ver you have first. turn on the marker and watch the screen. it will say "g1:4A" or "g1:5A". if you have 1.5 we can help here.

ok well i'll let you know what software i have by the end of the day. thanks for helping out. i have a question about that new mechanical bounce reducer setting you mentioned.. since the g7 has an optical trigger, the angel's software that it came with already reduces or disables mechanical bounce if the trigger is to close. i guess im asking how exactly the new software be different?

did the ref mean your gun or was it that he meant "overshooting" as in you kept shooting someone and didnt stop so he pulled you for that.

no. right before my gun was pulled, i gogged a person four balls to the face.. thats not overshooting. besides, he said "i dont want to see your gun shooting that fast by next game." so i know for sure it was "overshooting" as in added in shots by the gun, and not "overshooting" as in shooting someone too much.

the mba function is a software drivin shot filter. and it is adjustable. so the higher the value, the more it will filter the trigger pulls and check for partial or half pulls. basically anyway. bounce isnt always the trigger phisycally bouncing. it also refers to your trigger system being too sensitive. the more sensitive the trigger cuircut the more "glitchy" it will be. the mba adjustment will basically desensitize the trigger system to prevent added shots.
