first it was labeled Keely speed at FON, where I obviously got the pic from

second you have to look really hard to see it, but you can see that little thing that looks like a jewel in some of the other pics that says "SPEED" on it all the way in the back by the breech knob...proof???? who knows, I'm sure that there will be plenty of pics after this weekend

FON's got a good video too.

Rodney shoots it, and talks about all the features. Only problem is that so far most pics seem to be of the black, and they are at a distance, or in bad lighting so it's hard to really see the marker.

well nothing can seem that quick if the hopper being used is an egg, the egg is obviously limiting it, eggs max out at about 14-15 bps.

like all hoppers the freshness of the batteries plays a big part in speed.....I've found that the Energizer Titaniums give it a sweet ass spin, however regular Energizers are considerably slower...

They should try that new "Y" board for the egg next time they do a video... Or an egg.

The "y" board does something like 19-20bps. Kinda like an x board in a rev.

Ok, so this raises a question for me. Does this mean Rocky will be going to the Speed now and not using the Rocky Cagnoni Dark Angel IR3? I know he left Lanche and all, but my understanding was that he was staying with Warped Sportz...is that no longer the case?

hey did anybody notice that rodney didn't turn his Eggo on with a push button??? lever switch! It is rumored that the new board is to have a lever switch. watch the vid again you'll notice.

that's cuz he is using the new eggo with the "y" board. Let's see, they are releasing to public at tourneys already, so my guess is that the pros have had them for a while. I noticed the switch right away, almost like he "forgot" to turn it on both times, just so he could see if we would catch it.

Other than who moved on, we talked to Viewloader today about their new board. Currently known as the Y board, this new board has a toggle switch instead of the old push button. It also has new curcuitry that allows 2 balls per second faster feed rate and no delay as was found in older boards. This new board feeds up to 19 balls per second. Here are pics of the new shell and board.

to answer the question about Rocky, I'm sure that he was probably just one of the tests, Kinda like Keely was using it etc. Rocky will still probably use his signature series line (would be stupid of him not too if he wants to sell them). As for him staying with WS, that was discussed, he's still doing things with/for WS he's just not playing with Avalanche anymore.
