2.1 please HELP

i am having the same problem as many others in that once i get to the last step of flashing the gun runtime error '53' thing comes up . and now the orange light is always on i have tried starting over by uninstalling the 'angel series 1 flash untility' and 'silicon lab' thing and deleting the folder and shortcut on the desktop but still i get the same problem. after trying about 20 times literaly
p.s. new batteries are being used

Are you using windows XP, WITH service pack 2?

When you create the shortcut for the utility on your desktop..make sure you find the program in your accessories/all programs drop down menu. Make the shortcut from there. That was what fixed it for me, I was making the shortcut from the folder and thats why you get the run time error 53.

I uninstalled everything and re-installed everything and it worked for me!
