stripped threads?

is there any way to fix stripped threads on the body of the low pressure reg? (spear looking thingy on the right side under the barrel) or is the body a paperweight now... any feedback would be great. (when i say stripped, we can pull the piece that screws into it out by hand after we gassed it up and it shot across the room.)

this is a serious problem. and most likely you are holding a paper weight. the problem is tolerance. there is not alot of metal in that area. you cant just mill out some metal and rethread it. i will render the area too thin and make it unsafe. but you can jb weld in the plug to use the marker. when you need to remove it you will nedd to heat the area around it and remove the plug after. and then do the process over again to use the marker again. not pretty but probably your only avenue. sorry man
