Just got my a4 fly and played with it for the first time this past weekend. kinda concerned about how slow it shoots. im only getting 11 to 12 bps out of it. im not sure if its the gun or my finger on the trigger.
The marker is all stock with a angry halo and a mac dev conquest set a 450psi. i have the gun set at mrof 25, dwell 11, hopper sfast, and its on mode 1 with the trigger set at 1.

Is there something that i can do to up the rof or is it just me on the trigger. the lcd screen is saying that it needs oil and grease service, could that affect it? accuracy is fine and the mini reg seems consistant but im not sure that if i replaced it with a higher flowing reg like a cp if that would help.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Jason.
Welcome to AOG! I would suggest downloading the manual (http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/index.htm?fly/01.html) for this gun if you don't already have it and read it through. It will detail how to break the gun down and lube/clean it. Any gun sitting for semi long periods of time will suffer in performance if not properly lubricated. I would drop your dwell to 9 and try it there. Every gun is a little different so try different settings and see.

A wealth if information is archived on this forum. Use the search feature to get answers that have probably been asked before.

Fingers is the limiting factor for some. Just the way it is....

The stock gun is faster than that, you just need to be sure it is set up right. The cp reg is great and all, but stock reg always worked great for me. Invest your money in other upgrades.....Check your settings, and maybe change modes to see if its just the way you shoot, but you will need paint, I don't believe they work without paint. But before anything else, YES READ the MANUAL!!! You don't want to ruin such an awesome gun. Run searches, you can learn alot!

And P.S., the loader speed setting won't work unless you get some type of intellifeed.

P.S.S. If I did have to point out your problem, it would be the Macdev. They are not compadable with angels. So since you won't want it anymore, I'd be willing to buy it from you.....Just joking, that a great tank, but if you ever want to sell.... .... ... .. . . . . GOOD Luck!

i changed the mode to the accum mode and it shot 19 so is that still slow. im an old freeflow guy so it seemed pretty fast to me. lol but since it cant play in that mode i need to get this semi mode tuned in right. ill try the dwell on 9 and see. do i really need the angel grease or is it just white grease?

Accum mode is capped at 15 bps. How are you measuring bps?

You don't have to have love juice, just stick with a quality white lithium or dow33 based paintball grease.

umm i shot a hopper of paint on the accum mode and the grip said i was great and that i shot 19 bps. i thought iwas funny as hell. when your marker compliments you. but normally im going into the menu under advanced then to the rof screen. thanks for the info on the grease i have that i was thinking i had to order the love juice.

gun shoots great ive waited so long to be able to own an angel its no more complicated than all the cockers ive owned or built just different. i thank everyone for thier help.

its fun being the only angel in a field of dm's and ions cant wait till i get it all tuned in and ripping!
