would it be cheaper/easier for me to just change my regulator on my 68/4500 HPA tank to a LPA Reg that will put out 450? I mean for 100 dollars My angel requires LPA so is this a good fix? or is this going to be something that may leak and wont work too well. feedback anyone??
Thanks

CP makes a good tank regulator, but I personally prefer Guerrilla Air tank regulators. I use the Assault LP regulator and love it. It is 1/2" shorter than my Crossfire LP regulator and is almost three ounces lighter than my Crossfire (120 grams vs 200 grams), and can flow just as good as any of its competition. Every single piece of the Guerrilla Air regulators are sold individualy, and the regulator can quickly and easily be switched to high pressure for use on other markers. Not to mention it is a little cheaper. I know my comparisons were to a Crossfire, but it gives you something to consider. Best of luck.

you could just buy a better reg than the mini. a cp or boblong or detenator. all of these have great recharge rates, accept high pressure, and can be purchased fairly cheap here or on ebay.

Most regs you can just swap out the spring from a HP to a LP for like 10 bucks. At least on my guerilla air thats what you can do , And I'm sure I have seen it for other brands as well

Nitroduck also has the HP LP conversion on their newer bottles. Its like $10 extra for hp or lp springs.

What type of tank regulator are you using now?

i have a high pressure tank which has never been hooked up to the gun. the question originally was should i buy a low pressure tank or convert my high pressure tank (either way making a Low Pressure tank for the angel.) it's not a relevant thread however because when i took the angel to the local store, they hooked a tank up to it and the LPR blew right off the front of the gun and almost hit a girl working there. the threads were so stripped out it was amazing it held in there at all. kinda sucky..

Tough luck man. I'm pretty sure the MT's can fix the stripped threads. If not, TAG Sportz does as well as Tarantula Paintball Mods and Manufacturing can help you. Here are some links:

TAG does not list these repairs on their new web site, but I know the had it listed on their old website. Good luck.
