2.1 is going to force me to sell this.

Now im starting to get pissed off. This 2.1 is giving me lots of problems now.

I have FSDO, and the random eye not sensing. I can make multi-colored chowder from the way its blowing paint up.

Im not an idot, so dont repost asking a stupid question...

I know the fragile settings, I use only the highest quality litium energizer batteries, I shoot a pulse and a vlocity, and I definitely use the highest quality paint and it definitely was not extremely cold NOR was it fragile enough to do what it did.

I DID NOT have issues until the day I upgraded to 2.1 software.
I was shooting 1.9 before that. I want it back. Can anyone email me the package for 9?

I dont ramp, I use the recommended settings, and I shoot Semi-Only. 2 other A1's that were up'pd to 2.1 have same issue.

I just want the old Software. Someone hook me up before friday and I swear you will be the first person I give special mention to in my will. jk.

Or this A1 goes to the first 06 / 07 ego trader, Im not kidding. I didnt pay this much money to have a clam chowder maker.

Do you have the recommened pressures also? Do you have the upgraded hardware?

of course. LPR is correct and my dwell and velocities all are correct. Rick from RJ performance in Davision, MI has also teched the gun and fo no issues. I put a few drops of the miracle juice after every other game.

2.1 did not cause this issue get it back to rick and have him call me. he has my number.2.1 has now been installed for over 3 months without any issues and all guns shipped since november all come with 2.1 already installed.if you have others with this issue also let rick look at them as well.

Amazingly enough... I put 1.8 back on there after I cleaned and lubed the gun from sunday's practice... and my FSOD and BALL EYE problems dissappeared... imagine that.

Maybe the older software is masking an issue with a failing component or maybe the clean/lube or even a fresh battery perked it back up? Maybe the first time the new software was flashed it became corrupted? Just throwing some ideas out there considering the number of A1's we have flashed with 2.1without an issue.

Given what Ken and Bob have said, it may not hurt to try and flash back to 2.1 now that your marker is working. If the new flash is fine than there was either a problem when you first flashed the marker over, or like Bob said, a good greasing and new battery might've been the source of your problem. If the flash to 2.1 produces the same problems that it did before, call either Ken or Bob and they'll get your marker straightened out. They have always been very helpful and understanding when dealing with any technical issues related to the Angels. Which is one of the main reasons I will always shoot one and refuse to play on a team that won't let me.

Hey guys. Im really new to this marker or owning any kind of high end marker such as this. I got this gun around christmas its a very nice gun i have to say, but why do some of the modes not work? i've heard that CFOA, Xball, Millenium, or even PSP do not work? really the only mode(s) that works is full auto and of course semi auto. Im not sure if its me and i just cant tell if the modes really are working or that i just cant tell the difference between them or plainly the modes wont work at all. Can anyone please tell me, how to tell if any of these modes work or if im doing something wrong? or if its the marker?.......Thank You

also, is there a way to adjust the ram, because my bolt likes to stick in the forward position... the only thing i can think is my bolt sits to far back and needs to be moved forward a little bit....

BOB AND I WANT TO SEE ONE OF THE GUNS THAT THIS IS HAPPENING TO. WE ARE AWARE ITS HAPPENING BUT NOT A 2.1 ISSUE PER SAY BUT IT SEEMS TO MAKE IT SHOW UP ON SOME GUNS WITH THE UPGRADE. IF YOU COULD TRY UPPING THE DWELL TO 9 AND RE TRY AND THEN UP THE ABS AND SEE IF YOU COULD CLEAR IT AND LET US KNOW WHAT SETTING WORKS BEST.

Exactly my problem, only it seems more frequent. Every few dozen shots the eyes stop working, requiring a restart. Never did that with 1.8

That's what I was thinking too...

I just didn't want to leave the MTs hanging in the event they were waiting on me for something. They've been awesome so far and will continue to do so I'm sure.

Like I said.. I put 1.8 back on there (thanks to peeps for the emails), lubed it and new battery. Same Joy / Rage settings. 15 loader speed with the pulse. and Voila.

However, I no longer have the A1. It is supposed to shoot fragile paint... or not. Hope you guys solve your issues.

hey where are the loader speed settings?? i honestly cannot find them on my gun through the parameters menu. in the manual they said there is a loader speed feature?? and i simply dont seem to have it

The hopper speed setting was replaced by the paint type setting. The stronger the paint, the faster the hopper.

You sold the A1? That is unfortunate to hear. Money issues, since I've been sending any extra I have to my parents, is the only thing stopping me from buying one of these. I really prefer new equipment, but at this point even a used one would be fine...I just want one so bad!

The modes, eyes and everything work just fine on my v2.1 flashed A1. Even at Dwell 7.

If you guys want this issue solved you really need to send one of the guns with this problem to Ken and Bob so they can check it out.

You have to put paint in it and have the eyes on. The gun won't ramp with the eyes off.
