Flasher messed up?

Ok, I followed the instructions to the T. Problem I get is when I actually go to update the programming. All it does is say "Connect Marker".

Now, I have SP2, downloaded everything. It just wont do anything after that. Its like it doesn't see that the gun is connected

ok, heres a really wierd thing to it now.

took my gun to work today with me, and installed the updater and all that good stuff on the PC here. Funny thing is, WORKED FINE! updated my A1 to 2.1 without any problems.

So, I put my friends A1 on my laptop, and reinstalled everything. Still did the same thing, doesnt see that the A1 is plugged in when it comes time to actually to the update.

So I found that a little odd. Works fine on a desktop PC, but doesnt work on a laptop PC, and the laptop is 2months old with all the latest updates and stuff. The Desktop is fairly old, hasnt been updated in a while, last update was SP2.

We all use laptops from really ancient (Frazer) to the latest models. Have you tried all teh USB ports?

Try clicking the "enable legacy support for USB" in the bios. What operating system is it running?

thats the crazy thing, ive tried it on different laptops, still nothing.

Im running XP Pro
