The CFOA, the world's largest five-man tournament series, and WDP, producer of the legendary Angel paintball gun, have reached a sponsorship agreement for the 2007 season. While precise terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, it has been announced that the amazing new Angel 1 paintball gun, winner of two NPPL professional titles in the hands of Miami Rage and Joy Division, and nearly every 2006 Millennium Series Champions League event thanks again to Joy Division, will be presented as a grand prize at a CFOA event in the coming season.

"The CFOA series has been on our Radar for some time now," said Owen Ronayne of WDP after the agreement was concluded. "Its a successful and growing series that more and more players are asking us to support. I am very happy to not only sponsor the CFOA, but also have certified WDP techs at every event next year to help service and support Angel teams. Talking of which, at least 6 of our '07 stable of sponsored teams will be competing in the CFOA, so look for Angel teams on the podium. We aim to help our CFOA teams get the same great results we have enjoyed in the NPPL this year."

Joshua D. Silverman, Director of Marketing and Sponsorship for the CFOA, echoed those sentiments. "WDP has long been a respected member of the paintball industry. What they didnt directly invent that has shaped our sport, WDP has influenced. Its an honor to finally welcome a company with the storied history of WDP to our family for 2007 and beyond!"

After a season that saw an average of 110 five-man teams attending league events, the CFOA will again combine the traditions that have made the league successful with new concepts and formats, all built on a firm foundation of customer service. The 2007 CFOA event schedule and updated rulebook will be released shortly. For more information on the CFOA including online registration, full list of sponsors, team lists, scores, schedules, photo galleries and more, visit the official website of the CFOA, www.thecfoa.com.

Ha ha ha, get used to ya'll. Heck I married a gem from Tennessee. It is funny now when she talks to anyone on the phone from the south. The accent starts up like flippin a light switch! My sister-in-law and bride have been trying to get this Yank to eat grits for more than 15 years. Even have tried to disguise it as somethin else. I can spot em anywhere in any form and (marker crossed over chest) will never consume em till I die!!!! lol

Oh ya her (my bride) nick name is spicygrits. Girls from the south arn't bitchy - their spicy!

I always hated grits every time I tried them until I went to Ranger school. People will eat anything there. I actually found them to be best with a lot of sugar and jelly. They are actually pretty good that way.

Oh, sorry this thread was about the CFOA. I got thinking about food.

Great job WDP! The Angel is slowly taking over the world ... again.

Will the techs at the CFOA events have the ability to upgrade software on other types of Angels such as the Speeds and G7s? I know alot of player that would like to put the ramp mode on their Speeds. I know G7's have PSP mode, but some players would like to update their software.

We seen several A-1 Angels put on the PACT Timer at this past CFOA.

I am proud to report I seen no A-1 shooting over the limit. Looks like the CFOA mode keeps you straight and legal.

Thanks for a great gun.

Tampa is not till May. You still have time to plan on attending. We aren't playing this year.

Besides, if I played, I couldn't sit right beside Ken for the ENTIRE 3 DAYS  and drool over those young Swedish boys:love:

Which mob plays ACTS? I saw you guys play a few games there, what can I say....those angels caught my eye. You may remember me due to my pain in the ass black magic that a few of your guys were looking at.

How could I EVER forget your Black Magic! It was right beside my ear while you guys were DRY FIRING IT attempting to make it work!!!:pisss:

jk

I don't know how anyone could miss our Angels! Our Angels were beasting fools. We finished 1st in prelims. Finals? Well, we learned a VERY valuable lesson. In the future, our Finals game will be totally different than our prelim game plan.

Hope to see you again soon and with an ANGEL in your hands.

We'll be reffing at the next ACTS at Real McCoys on May 19th. Mr. McCoy has a large selection of Angels and can help you with any questions. Find me or any member of MOB at the next ACTS and I'll let ya try out an Angel!

P.S.
Sell your broken Black Magic and come get an Angel!

Already been done....we'll see if we can't make it up there to the next ACT. I think me and ed are gonna try to pick a third man up and ball in the 3 man series next year, that is if college life isn't too demanding.

AWESOME!!! Now your ready for that new Angel!!!

Our first tournament series was the 3 man ACTS Tournament Series. Back then it was just the family playing together. Everyone wanted us to call ourselves The Family, but that had already been done. So, we started calling ourselves the M.O.B. which better describes our family

Come see me at the next event at Real McCoys and I will introduce you to Mr. McCoy. I'll be the Head Ref for the rookies.
