A1 Rage

I wanted to purchase a Rage A1, but was curious to know if they were built with all the new parts and software? Is there anyway to tell before the purchase?

I don't know the definite answer, but my Joy came with all the upgraded parts. I would assume the Rage would too.

Thanks for the response. Maybe I'll go ahead and take a chance with the A1, I love my G7 Fly it hasn't given me any issues, so I would hate to go from a sweet gun to one with problems. Thanks again.

If you buy it from a MT, it will, no doubt.

If you buy it from somewhere else, I can't garentee you anything...

I just picked up a Rage 1 from a guy that's selling some of the Rage guy's NIB guns that WDP gave 'em. It had all the upgrades but only 1.8 software. No biggie as I have the A to Mini-B cable so I'm set.

Hey, I bet you got a good dell on that, I got mine new about a month ago, from someone else who bought it, and it has all the new parts.

Mine came from Ken about a week ago and had all of the upgraded parts. It came with 1.8 software so I wrote down all of the settings that he had it set at and flashed to 2.1. He said that when the new bolt was released with the self cleaning eyes feature he would send that out also.

Bolts with the 'eye cleaning' holes have been out already. Mine has the holes on it. I think you're referring to the ones with the new bolt faces about to come out.

all the ones that have been recently produced anyways. Nothing says that a retailer hasn't been sitting on the old ones.

Would be pretty certain that the Rage & Joy have all the new bits and pieces. My Gunmetal A1 has and that was bought about 10 days before the Joy/Rage were released!
