Consistency issues

I've having a consistency problem. Going form 280 to 290 to 270, back and forth. I have a G7 Jds lpr and tadao with a nitro Xstream @400-450. tell me if you guys need to now more settings to help me out. I just cleaned thew outer portion of my stock mini reg. did not take out the cir-clip and got into the reg itself. just cleaned the orings and relubed them with grease. wednesday will give it another go @ the Field. help me out guys!

LPR too low, dwell too low, bad paint, bad paint to barrel.

You know that's right. the only thing I don't do is match the paint to my barrels. it's small paint. I have a .686 that holds the paint nice and right.
dwell is @ 9
dont have a lpr kit. will get one VERY soon.
paint is pretty good doesn't break on me at all. so i'm figuring it's the paint to barrel. will let you know.

rick mabe if you were to go to the arean i would let you borrow my lpr gauge for jds( boostmonkeys):rollseyes
also crack open the actual reg- check the piston o-ring(small,clear) and lube up the inside.
try and put your tank at 450, and do as thatguy says.

My G7 had somewhat the same problems at one time. It ended up being the tank reg starving the gun. Check for 450 psi output and a good reg!

Joe, have the gauge it is really sweet. will check the oring. gotta get me some cir clip pliers tomorrow.
mav, will have to check that out too. could use a ASA with a gauge and plug to check it, right?

if you were to go to the arena, you could borrow my circlip pliers...;)
just pick some good ones up at sears or ace or whereever( get GOOD ones)

Mav, this should work to check my tank output, right? being the gauge is from 0-600psi of course..

Ya that will work. It looks like a Hybrid on/off (pix is outta focus.) You will need to turn it on and off and partially unscrew the tank to vent the reg. You'll figure it out.... lol
