Breech rod stuck?

Ok i have a 99 LE LED. The breech rod broke off where there was only a bit sticking out, i tryed grabbing it with pliers and milling some of the tube to reveal more rod and it doesnt want to move. The gun i bought off a friend who works at a proshop.

The history of the gun is that some guy dropped it off like two years, or i guess four now to be repaired and never came back or left information. So my friend sold me the gun cheap with the problems. The breech and stuff is basically rusted and gunked up from mud/paint over time.

Besides for other small problems this is my main focus.

Is the breech rod threaded? I'm assuming it was like my lcd where you just pulled it out.

Also i have tryed the pins on the other side of the breech, but cant find the right size screw that everyone keeps telling me.

So i'm pretty desperate to get this rod out so i can get the gun together so i can get into the internals and work on them. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

i believe the screws are 2mm. if you can get the other rods out, you can probably have a better shot at working the other one loose. and it is not threaded it just pulls out.

Ive tryed 2mm and 1.6mm. None have worked. So that means that i may not have the right screw, or it is stripped. I guess i will just take it to a hardware store and see if i can get a screw to thread.

Anyways so since it just pulls out that mean the rod is rusted/gunked up inside of that tube...

yea my speed used to do that. it would stick hella bad. and no matter how much i cleaned or sanded it, it would always happen again. i have a misc screw pack. ill see if i have one that fits and i can mail it to you.
