I just bought this gun and will recieve it this weekend. Now my question is isn't all the fly's made in 04 except for like 10 that were imported into the US? So is this an 04 model or an 05? Again I'm new into the whole angel thing, I've been a previous e-cocker man! Thanks! -Nick

Well i just recieved it today and its pretty badass!!!!! When I get home from work Im going to load it up and see what it can do....has to be better than my ecocker 15bps ramp!! I have the halo v35 hopper so Ill see what it can do! -Nick

Early JD, which would've been sometime in 04.

And who cares? It's the same gun regardless of when it was made.

Looks like a great gun. How do you guys know it is an early JD Fly? What changed on the later ones?

All I can say is wow. Fast ramping with 31bps is incredible! This gun is simply amazing! No chop whatsoever! Im in love! Any mods that I should do extra to this gun or is it pretty good to go???

It seems awefully fast to me....the predator chip allows you to set the MROF and cap the BPS......i set it to 31bps and it acknowledged the setting...

Later ones were gold rather than bronze.

When the A4 JD Fly came out you could get it in either color. Black to bronze or black to gold. They came out the exact same time. There were also a few (read 10) Black to red fades that are really rare and I have also seen a clear annoed one so all you see is the sweet milling and the tattoo on a silver marker. The marker is the exact same no matter what color it is (other than owner added ups of course).

Although it may have acknowledged the setting it doesn't mean that you will get 31 bps out of it. The V-35 board feeding only 24-25 bps out of the box, you will only get that out of the marker for the first little while on the freshest batteries that you put in it unless you are running aftermarket batteries in it.
