I've recently purchased and A4 and am having some trouble with it. When plugged into the charger from a wall socket the LCD flashes between "LP V2" and the entire display lit up. I don't get a PowrOn message with the gun turned off. I've searched through the forum and haven't found any solution yet. I have an extra battery which does not work either. When the gun is turn on with a battery it will light up showing LP V2 and then the backlight goes off and shows 3 empty squares and an empty battery.
I've tested the batteries with one showing 4.3v and the other 2.8v. The outputs of the charger and wall socket adapter appear to be ok. The light on the charger is on.

Charge with the gun on. Try this. Turn on gun, then plug in charger. It should charge then.

Unfortunately it still blinks LP V2. I've tried each battery.

Know of anyone with an Angel that you can try to charge your battery from their board? It is possible that the board is bad but I would try charging another way before I assume that the board is culprit.

No, I don't know of anyone with a similar board near me. I am able to get the board to boot up and say PwrOn but I am stuck there. This is with the charger unplugged. Once the light goes off the LCD pulling the trigger and pushing the buttons doesn't light it back up.

Sounds as though you should send it into an MT to have a look at. Contact Bob @ Fix my Angel for the details of how and what you should do. He is a site sponsor.

did you check the wires on the switch for the batt? I had a similar prob, and it was a short in the switch wiring
