I have a Cobra FLY and i was wondering how i can get tighter paintball grouping? I am shooting xball bronze with a DYE ironman (stainless steel) .686, .684 back, and a 14" Dye UL barrell.
Also wondering what the dwell should be set to as all my settings are from factory.
Thanks

make sure you paint to barrel match is good.
Make sure all pressures are correct.
Lpr- 55-60
Dwell- 9ms ( around)
Check the paint for any messed up ones(dimples, not round, etc..)

Hi Ranger Joe,
I tried the .686 , and .684 and the groupings are a few feet above and below my target. My gun is shooting very high over 310 on the Chrono evem with the regulator screw cranked down to the end until it was sticking out on the other side. In order for me to lower the gun to 250 at the field we played on i had to increase the dwell to 14 and it was chopping alot.
So at this point my paint does match my barrel so we can rule that out.
The gun has been shooting high since i got it and it was serviced before to make sure things were fine and it was but just shooting high for some reason.
Assuming i take the gun apart what should all the settings on the board and guages, pressure be set to? Do i need any special tools besides the Angel Kit with the LPR gauge, bolt tool etc... ?
Thanks for the feed back.

Ok first of all grease everything- ram, lpr, and especially REG. Once thats done set your dwell to around 9. Lpr to 55-60. Also check your tank output- it shoul be around 450. You will need a angel tool kit to do this.

Thanks i will buy the tool kit.
What kind of lubricants do you guys reccomend for this gun? and when do i need to change O-Rings?
I tried callling the shop that i bought my gun and they are tooo busy so i think i will take this challenge up since i will need to learn how to do this anyways.
Thanks
Peter

Your problem is probably that you have an HP tank and you need an LP one.

I use mt grease and at time use "sleek" (dow 33 or 55, idk which one)
you change them when they are cut, scarred(sp), nicked or if your gun is leaking.
(i usually like to put fresh seals on every 5 or so cases(not that drastic but i do what i do lol)
