The velocity screw on the side of my reg is leaking air. It is a small leak but it is noticeable. I have coated it in teflon paste and screwed it back in and will wait till later to check it. Is this common or should I be worried? I would think an o-ring or something would be used but I dont see one. Of course I havent taken the reg apart yet either. Thanks for this info too....

sure its not coming outa the vent hole?
change all body o-rings on the reg. that should do the trick. also i wouldnt cover the velocity screw with anything- dont think it hurts it- but i wouldnt

If the body orings don't do the trick(they should), try replacing the one on the piston. Not the main seal on the top, but the one that goes around it.

Right on. Took the reg apart and cleaned and greased the o-rings. No more leaks. Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Now I just got to get my eyes working again.
