I've a Joy Division A4 Fly that needs to lose a bit of weight. Will changing to an aftermarket board & 9v help that much ? If so any recommendations.

yea get a board that uses a 9 volt. you can remove the internal battery, and it lightens it up a lot.

I went with a maxflo micro and that helped. And like Ranger said, and barrel kit, I'd recommend a Sly or Stiffi. Another idea is losing the steel hammer, and going with a nylon one.

Where does one find a nylon hammer? I have been on the search for some time now. The evolve lite kit is not available anymore.

http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=62808, and jump on it, cuz they are hard to find. The main purpose for that is to reduce kick, which means you'll probaly drop you LPR pressure and your dwell. I'm not shure if you'll want to use it and run stock specs. When I bought mine, boostmonkey really helped me tune my Joy so I could get it just right, and now this baby really rips. If you do that, you might want to read some of his threads that give alot of specs to that setup and will answer alot of Q's.

oh yeah, there is a Newton Kit on ebay for $100 right now, don't know the thread, just run a search for it. I went the other route, got a Revolve Kit, which boost can make you one, which is cheaper, and in my opinion, alot better. Here is the link if you are intrested
