So i replaced the A1 bolt with the newer version with the holes on the sides for airflow and noticed a few things. The holes look like they were dug out with a knife as they are not concentric and have mars around them. Also the old bolt would slide smoothly whereas the new bolt does not. It doesnt get stuck it just needs a little more persuasion to get it in. Is this what everyone else experienced? Im thinking about sanding it down in a few spots to see if that makes a difference. If anyone has any advice Id appreciate it.

where did you buy the bolt from? i bought the newer version from bob at fma and the holes on mine are very tiny. the newer one that i bought was about the same size as the old one. (maybe just a tiny bigger)

paintballgear.com storefront. They are absolutely insane about returns and have had a hard time with them before. I wont be able to return it to them unfortunately.

wow, well, my suggestion is to buy everything angel related from one of AOGs sponsors. You can find a link to all of their sites in these forums.

I had planned on doing that but pbgear is right down the street. I fired a few thousand shots and it slides just like my old one. Thank god for scuba tanks.
