I have an A4 and the chamber cover is stuck. I pull the pin back but it wont move. I tried hitting it and firing it a few times to loosen it but it wont move. Also, im trying to get the ram out to lubricate it n i cant because i dont have a tool like the one they show in the manual. What can i do?

By cover, do you mean the backplate?

Ok the bolt was stuck up n i pushed it back then took it out n for some reason thought i had to lube the bolts n i lubed it up a bunch n i put it back in n now its really stuck. I push it back all the way n it still wont open. Before when i had the breech open it seemed like there was resistance when i closed it a little at the end n now it just wont open at all. I tried using a squeegy and a few other things but it didnt work out at all. It opens a tiny but like an 1/8th of an inch or less but it just wont budge. What am i suppose to do? I cant really get much water in there to wash it out n i cant even get it open.

Ahhh, sounds like part of the problem is a swollen bolt. Don't lube the bolt because it'll swell. It doesn't need to be lubed.

It sounds like the breech door is out of alignment and maybe scraping on the feedneck or towards the back of the gun. Does it look like it is contacting anything that is stopping it from opening?

If that isn't the problem, sounds like the ram is too far forward?

It was rubbing a little on the front of the breech. But i cant even pry it open.

It moves freely for about 1/16th of an inch so it makes me think somthing else is holding it there.

Sounds like the ram is too far forward. Or perhaps the breach pin (right side from behind) is too far forward. If so it either would not be hard to fix.

How far foward is the ram suppose to be? I thought i would tighten it till it stops. Or is the back suppose to be flush with the backplate? And can i lube the ram with love juice? What else should i lube/

when you adjust the ram make sure the hammer is all the way back. then adjust the ram forward intil the breech closes smoothly with the bolt in

one more thing bro, most of us had the same similar probelms your going through. read the manual, it's holds most of the need to know facts of your angel. search the forums for the other info. and ask us for the inside tricks and helpful tips. but reading the manual is a must.

Problem is my manual is all backwards because i own an A4 with an 04 speed board and the person i bought it from has a speed manual. So everything is backwards and its not really that helpful. Ive tried to download the one online but my computer has a problem with displaying it aparently. I understand i ask questions that are already answered its just that in searching for my answeres most people dont answer what i need to know completely its just a quick 1 sentence thing 2 pages into a thread and is very annoying to siph through everything. I recently figured out the faq section but it still leaves me with questions which i would just be asking in a forum again anyway. Thanks for everyones help.
