So im only getting like 1000 shots off a 70/45 crossfire stubby. It is LP although im not entirely sure what the operating pressure is. Im going to get it checked in the next few days, I'd do it sooner but im taking a lot of exams.

Everything in my gun seems in order except for 2 things, one possibly causing the other. This is where the second part of my title comes in handy.

Is it possible that my ego detents are causing the bolt to lag a bit, I've noticed 2 shiny marks that have developed on my bolt from this. I'm beginning to wonder if this has increased the dwell time in a way, and potentially made it inconsistent.

This might be my problem, or it could just be my tank.

Any other Ego-Detent users having the same issue?

What tanks are people using successfully on a1's?

Phew...

Thanks.

I also am using a 70/45 crossfire stubby. It works great. I get about 700-1000 shots off of a full fill (it only fills to 3000 psi, not sure why though). I know it comes preset at 450 psi i believe but i also need to get it checked next time i play. only thing i dont like so much about the 70/45 is the feel of it. it feels off balance a little and the tank feels a little too big for the gun and kind of weird. what do you think?

As far as the detents pick up a pack of the new red style detents. They are more durable than the blue ones and will work and last better than the blue ones.

WuBuBu.....what are you settings (i.e. dwell, LPR, HPR, etc.)? This will help everyone gain a better understanding of the possible problems.

Thanks!

I've tried them but they dont work. I have to put my dwell at at least 8.5m/s in order for it to fire, and even then I get FSDO. I usually have it at 9 cause i only FSDO every now and then.

My settings are;

Dwell:8.5
LPR:61
ABS:3.5

Somethings not right. I understand that these settings are particularly conducive to efficiency, but this just doesnt make sense.

Can any techs give me some info on this?

I called Ken and Im getting some red detents, im hoping this will help.
