Other than the milling is there any difference between the two markers?

yes the FLY comes with the MT Valve. 45 frame and..and....I forgot...oops. dont' worry someone will be along to fill in the blanks! haha

ok i'm back. there's a difference in the software. a NXL mode and there's an upgraded software. from there they are kinda twins. one drives a Honda the other a Acura.

So the software in the stock version can it be flashed for a newer version?

Can't forget the barrel threads. G7 old style and the Fly, 06 Speed, and the A1 have the new Angel threading.

Different trigger too. The Fly loses one of the vernier wheels (back to just an allen setscrew) but you gain adjustability of the front attracting magnet.

I know the CP ASA adapter for the 05 speed won't fit an 06 speed, so something should have changed up around the flashtank too.

.... there's a difference in the software. a NXL mode and there's an upgraded software...... The G7 Fly software does not have the NXL mode. The difference in software is the addition of the
anti-mechanical bounce filter.

So the software in the stock version can it be flashed for a newer version?Yes.

different trigger w/ magnetic tension, barrol threading, slightly different softwear and internals, and the g7 fly is avalable in 90 frames.

My Arsenal Fly does not have MdB. I don't know if that's because the team edition is different from the regular Fly or if perhaps this one is early production, but it is most certainly not on there.

They didn't come with it off the bat. It's probably still free to upgrade if you would like it.

Enh, my field isn't picky about bounce, so the turn-around time to send my board in just isn't worth it if MdB is the only difference, free or not.

The G7 also comes with your choice of 90* or 45* frame, i might have read your statement wrong, but it looked like you were saying that the G7 didn't comewith the 45*only the Fly. If i interpretted it wrong, my bad.

i could weigh both of my markers. but i can tell you it is probably very little difference. i would say grams. maybe an ounce or two at the most. funny thing about how the back of the fly is milled. my g7 is not as tall as my fly. its like they started higher and milled the groove of the ribs down to where the g7 sits. which means the ridge of the milling is actually taller on the fly than on my g7. but then they milled off every bit of excess metal around the feedneck and breech so it made up for the difference in the end.
