version 2.1 pre release

here is the newest version of software for the a1 EXCLUSIVELY HERE ON AOG. follow the install instructions as written. dont do it your own way. this is just the software file. if you have already previously updated your software just insert this version in the flasher and install as all other versions. if you have not updated your software go to http://www.wdp.tv/ and look for the file that says software at the top of the page. download this file and read the instructions. instead of the 1.8 use the new 2.1 posted here. follow the instructions as they are written. if you follow these it should go smooth as a babys butt. this software version has new stuff as well as fixing a loop in the ramping. the biggest change you will notice is the settings for the loader speed. it has been changed from the numbers 1-16 to paint type. this will help you better match the type and quailty of paint to your loader.

also please be aware. there will be an euro version of this software that is semi only. when this posted we suggest you stay with the state side software. the euro version will not allow you to select anything but true semi. this is due to the fact some countries have stricter regulations.

Ken or Bob can you please let wdp know that the link to the flasher software and usb drivers is not working. I am trying to download them and it does nothing when you click on the link. Also, where can I find these(anywhere else)? I bought my a1 with version 1.8 and have not updated b4. now I would like to and cant get the darn drivers.

I got a hold of the drivers for flashing. I had to use the address of the 1.8 version software on wdp's site to get it. I then flashed my a1. Is it normal for it to reset the shots fired counter every time you flash it?

The settings are nearly the same, just changed to new format so players would better understand the hopper settings.

Where is the best place to get the USB cable for the Angel 1 to perform the upgrades? Ours at 1.4. Someone was trying to say that you can do it through blue tooth. Is this possible?

It should be easy to find the cable. Try radio shack. It uses the same cable my camera and calculator use. It's pretty standard.

really nice software. ramps well and nicely. just took me like 30+ secs to flash the whole thing. thanks guys, now im the only one with v2.1 at the field and i aint saying why.
