Mine is stuck too. Twisted the hopper on and, somehow, locked it in place--I believe that I crushed it. Now it doesn't work too well.

I actually removed the entire feed tube (neck and collar) instead of just the feed tube collar in my attempts to separate the two pieces. I'm going to have to get two strap wrenches and some liquid wrench.
