Guys,

Is the Soleniod ever serviced? I stare at the cover but I dare not open it. Don't want to open Pandora's Box. You guys tell me. I've pretty much checked the whole gun and taken it apart for after game cleaning. But I just stare at that damn cover!

iv attempetd it, not a big deal. Once you take if off nothing will fly out. the only thing i did was grease the rubber seal on the bottom of it. I would not suggest do anything else(take apart) if you do take it apart and f*ck it up....kiss $150(or how ever much it is) away lol

Its not necessary to take the selenoid apart.

But if you want to take a look inside 1 ,(not trying to encourage anyone who has'nt tried) theres really nothing to them. Just make sure you dont lose the small o'ring thats inside the end cap when you take the 4 very small screws apart. Also remember which way the internal steel pin(cant remember the name) is facing.

first- is there anything wrong with your gun(why your asking bout solinoid) any way all i do every so often- is to gently lift solinoid of the pegs they are on(2 of them) and the rubber seal is attatched to the bottom of actualy solinoid casing. you can take off the rubber gasket and grease both sides lightly and or the base of the area(on the gun-where sloinoid sits)
and your golden lol
If i can do it, you can aswell ( speaking from a 14 yr olds perspective :)

no nothing wrong with my gun, shoots fine and no leaks. but the gun was bought used in june and was just wondering about the soleniod. Like I've said, I have broken down the gun to clean it up from playing and getting the paint out from just about every where and wondered if the Soleniod ever needing a grease rub down every so often. that's all.

I usually never touch the solenoid unless there's aproblem with it. Putting some fresh grease on the gasket can't hurt, but I just never mess with it, being that it's a non moving part.
Solenoids are fun to take apart though, if you're mechanincally inclined. Like a mini spool valve.
