Part of it is eye logic, part is eye placement, part of it is lower operating pressure and a stiffer more forward bolt face for even less rollback. Also the top of the A1 bolt has a flattened angled surface to minimize impact on partially fed balls.
And don't set the hopper force too high. EVOII with Z-board,Vlocity on lowest setting, Reloader B on 2 or B2 on middle or lower half settings. It makes more of a difference than people would have you believe.
I'd suggest installing a board/eye system in the A4 to begin with. Tadao possibly, but there are also other alternatives. Then set eye delay really high to make it as nice on paint as possible. That's a good start.
Eliminate the rollback by modifying the bolt to be flat in the front with no rolling into it, or using a flat face bolt (jam bolt perhaps if they're still sold?).
But this is some serious money and work, It would be easier adapting a Speed 06 or G7. Or just getting an A1 you know?

i just got a lucky board. they use a 9 volt and are wicked fast. have to have a chip. the spitfire chip is uncapped, has all the tournament modes, ramp, response, full auto, everything. it can use eyes but i have an a4 with no eyes, and the board is stilled uncapped. also you can take the rechargable battery out of your gun to make it lighter.
