Long story short: I botched the instal of the Lucky AA valve kit and now my G7 leaks down the barrel.

Long story long: When I removed the old hammer to replace it, I used channel locks. I grabbed the ram shaft (covered in a relatively thick towel) with the channel locks and rotated the old hammer off. I didn't realize I was puttin tiny little scratches (can't really feel them if you rub your finger on them) on the middle part of the shaft. I installed everything and when I went to push the ram back and it got stock (becaused the scratches catching on something inside the ram). So I put a little force on it and it went in. I moved it back fourth and noticed it would keep sticking about mid way through.. that's when I noticed the scratches. So I put it all back together to see if it'd still work. Aired up and noticed a slight leak. Put a couple drops of love juice in the valve and shot about 5 times.. still leaking. So I took it all apart and replaced the valve (old one wasn't leaking) so I could see if it was the Lucky valve. Installed everything again, and it still leaked. So I'm wondering if those tiny little scratches on the ram are causing it to leak, or are both of the valves bad/leaking? I've got a new ram and eyes (forgot to unplug them and they ripped) on the way already.

Is it leaking out of the valve or the ram? Use very fine sandpaper or emery cloth on the ram shaft and you should be able to smooth it out.

I can't tell.. it just leaks down the barrel. It's not a big leak, it actually pretty small but I can't get it to stop. Would the tiny scratches on the ram cause the leak down the barrel? Because I've tried two different valves and the leak still occurs.

Grease the ram o-rings and the inside of the body and smooth out the scratches.

problem solved, got a new ram. Used a piece of cardboard over the towel and it worked out great. No scracthes and so far the ram is shooting good.
