2001 angel code???

i have a chance to buy a 2001 angel i believe it is. i messed around with the gun and i couldnt seem to move the mode code. i called a shop and talked to a tech and he said my best bet would be to try on a forum and look for i guess it would be a hack code for the board. it wont change out of mode b. any help would be appreciated. thank you
