IMO...a small amount of play probably won't be a bad thing. If you make it too snug, trash and debris will likely hinder its movement, especially the return stroke. Just some rambling thoughts....

get 2 slightly longer grip screws and put them in the topleft corner holes and tighten them until you get it like you want.

you want a little bit and I mean a little bit, of side to side play this is done intentionaly and will help you increcse your R.O.F. when you get your trigger light and short .....

Take your trigger out, put it in a vise, place the pin in the desired hole, hit the top of the trigger with a small punch and hammer untill the pin is tight in the hole. You might have to file or sand the edges down a bit for it to fit back in the frame, when your all done the side to side play will be VERY little if any. While the trigger is out and if you want the smoothest trigger in the land, smoothen and polish the set screws, polish the back of the trigger, and polish the SS lever on your board, cut 2-3 coils off the spring grease it all up and install it.

speaking of triggers ...

anyone know of a heavier trigger? something not made from aluminum?

i messed around with an eblade sfl the other day and just LOVED the trigger feel. i believe a heavier trigger could somewhat simulate that "solid" feeling.

yo the play is there for a reason

if it was perfet u couldnt pul it from the side ...ud have to pull straight back and straight forard....it would rub and have no room to give to limit the pressure hitting the frame when u shoot it....

take w/e u put in there out....there are guns w/ worse play out there... the play is in there for a reason leave it

This is not true at all, the slop is taken up by the pin, the trigger does not rub on the side of the body. Also when your pull is like 1/2mm there is no sideways movement needed to fire, just tap it backwards. When you eliminate the slop in the pin hole, making it fit tighter, you can also adjust for alot shorter more responsive pull. I have mine to where there is about 1/2-1 mm side to side, and 1mm pull, it is alot more sensitive now, alot smoother, and faster than before, and adjusting the pull shorter would not be a problem, that's just the way I like mine.

What you think I posted this because it should work in theory? I have already made my trigger perfect, and it works great, you enjoy your sloppy trigger with the 4mm side to side.
