Guys,
I know alot of people have been having problems with air leaking the vent hole on the voly. I myselv had this problem. Putting a major amount of grease is just a cover up. WHat you do is get a slightly bigger o-ring(Just big enough to seal voly, small enough to not affect perfromance) once i slapped one on, air up fine. Been using same o-ring for month, no wear.
Though i might let you guys know. :)

I ended up replacing it with an o-ring from an Angel A.I.R. rebuild kit as a temporary fix since I didn't have any others. That was 6 months or so ago and the problem hasn't come back yet. The problem still seems to come from adjusting the valve stem for reducing blowback. Once your blowback is where you want it, go ahead and replace the o-ring to avoid the issue.

A new 005 works well.

I'll bet. Didn't have one of those on hand though and I was being impatient. The 'temporary fix' is still running strong though. I'm going to pick up a couple 005s and have them available when the one that is in there kicks it though.

I used an 006, because I could not find an 005. I have a oring kit and the smallest I had was a 006. It workes great as well no leaking at all, and all presures and chrono is still constent as well.

Thanks for the info on just trying to replace the oring ,because the grease thing was getting very annoying.

Thanks, again
Ranger Joe and all others that contributed to this finding.

006s work, but in my experience they lead to horrible consistency.
