The stiffi joystick I NEED HELP

Hey i just got my stiffi joystick today and if you compare to stock barrel to the stiffi the threads are the same but theres a gap between the breech and where the barrel stops where you screw it in. Like the part of the barrel behind the threads where the ball first enters the barrel. My stock barrel is a lil longer than the stiffi. Does that effect anything?

The Stiffi Joystik, I believ, was made for the newer* Angel One threads; however, the Angel One and G7 Fly threads are the same, but the Angel One barrels have a shorter shank (i.e. the part behind the threads that enters the bore first). G7 Fly threads will fit on Angel Ones but there is a small gap where the threads are partially visible;thus, the reason for making the Gold "Beauty Ring" to close this gap. Sorry for the rambling. I don't know think it would matter that the shank is a little shorter.

what angel r u trying to use th joy-stik with? like matt said the barrel you bought was made 4 the newer angels and you may even have the wrong threads.
