don't know if this is the right place to be, but, whats the diffrence in a cobra valve and a regular a4 fly valve, and what needs to be different on installing one?

i hate to hijack the thread but can you use an evolve kit and a cobra valve at the same time and have it work properly? i was messing arround with an evolve shaft i have when i got my cobra valve and with some trial and error i managed to get the shaft inside and into place properly but i dont kno if thats enough.
