Hey!

As previously mentioned, I just got my G7, used, with 122.000 cycles.

Problem: 1: cant get fps over 260, 2: haven't got the lpr gauge.

I pulled out the LPR to check shims, and discovered there was only 1 shim present. Since I dont have the gauge (yet) I am unable to measure the correct pressure. So my question is this: How many shims (approx) should I be trying to get 'default' pressure?

Need 220fps for reball, and what is the optimal fps for paint?

Thanks in advance guys! :)

you cant guess really because all guns use difernt amount of shims to get to teh default 65psi.

guess it's supposed to be more than 1, though..

i would bet so lol..dont know how 1 could make it be around 65psi...BUT ya never know

hahaha :) right...

But lets say my marker maxed out at 260fps.
Manual says "each shim equals approx 2psi" .. could this figure in any way
be transferred to fps exit-speed?
That way I at least would get an idea on how many shims to add.

fps is not only dependent on the lpr pressure.........

ok... thanks anyway =)

also check to make sure the shims arnt binded..there are some that are way thin and stick together that make it look like 1.

best speed for paint is 299  without goin over the LPR comes from the factory at a set pressure who knows what it is, some could be 63 psi and only need one shim or it could be 40 psi and could need like 12 shims its hard to say without the gauge
