I have a AirAmerica 45/4500 LP. On this tank the output pressur is 350psi. Can it be to low for the Angel One. Cause with the Joy setting i cannot go over 250fps on the chrono !
Thank

The required output pressure of your preset should be 400 psi ( wdp manual ).
Others said, it should be between 400 and 450 psi preset output or also possible
150 to 200 psi above your mini-reg pressure.
so you should have at least 400 psi output, 350 is a bit to low.

this what says the manual on Page 6:
"The Angel is designed to operate on air/Nitrogen gas.
This needs to be supplied to the Angel at an ideal
pressure of 400psi (27.5 bar) using a suitable first
stage regulator."
I had my max-flow micro teched to 440 psi, thinking thats
allright, regarding the advise from the manual.
noobies often get kicked around for not reading the manual
and not following the advises in the manual and now, i do and it's still wrong.
why is it necessary to get the psi above 450psi?

Maybe it's because the minireg can only take a certain percentage of the input pressure and drop it. Like taking 400psi and dropping it down to the recommended 270-300psi. Perhaps when starting lower than 400 the minireg can't function as designed.

what is the range of psi output from the fsr that makes the mini-reg happy? 400-450 psi? 450-500 psi? exact 465.4343 psi ?
