Hello all, this is my first post, and i guess its a question. My soft-faced bolt(i believe thats what it is called) has aged, i would like to get a new bolt and was wondering if there are any options out there, and if not, where could i at least find the stock one? Thanx in advance.

You can also look at a DEZign bolt, which is supposed to give you more efficiency.

Softface is the way to go. Tried many others and always came back to the WDP bolt. It's just the best design hands down. Site sponsors all carry them.

Thanx guys. I read over the Dezign bolt page and might have to go that way. If any of you would like i some more info on aftermarket angel bolts, i found another thread in AOG that does sort of a shootout of aftermarket bolts. I wouldn't have asked if i had found that thread earlier, but anyways here it is.

Open Face DEZigns are amazing.

Is this from experience? If so, do you have the Delrin or the Ertalyte bolt? Just wondering what you paid?

That really doesn't hold true any more mainly because the overall design of the WDP bolt has changed.
It went from something like this
http://www.mercenarios.com.br/store/images/produtos/263_p.jpg
Having a open chamber in the back, venturi design and a flat face.

to this:

A bolt having an angled inlet, no longer venturi, and the soft rubber face with helps against hard ball impact.

But I agree with Mavrick, the stock bolt (imo) is the best bolt on the market.

The stock bolt works, but I have an open face Design, and I wouldn't use any other bolt. Wears very little, it's silky smooth in the breech, and the bolt pin is adjustable.

As for adjustable? i have never had an adjustable bolt, so what exactly does that entale? is there some special mathmatical formula that is needed, or is it pretty simple to adjust? Thanx in advance.

The bolt pin is threaded in, instead of pressed in. There is an alen fitting on the top of the bolt, so you can adjust the height. The bolt fitment was an issue on some G7's, so this is one way you can get it to work fine.
To adjust it, I opened the breech, placed the bolt where it would be in normal operation, and adjusted the pin until the bolt looked perfectly parrallel with the marker body.
