Having inconsistency problems?

Here's a solution that shows up in the troubleshooting guide but is often overlooked.

Lower your HPR. Mine is running at about 190 and I'm shooting 290-295 fps. Obviously you will need to raise (less tension) your "front pulse," but in the process my consistency stabilized very well. Efficiency is still there, very little kick.

If you are having problems with your Evolve giving you wonky velocities (mine would do 290, 250, 285, 230, 275, 280, etc.) then lower your HPR and put less tension on the cupseal. It worked for me, might work for you too.

Forgive me for sounding slightly lacking in commen sence. But when you state HPR you are refering to the in-line regulator, right? I always call the regulator on the bottle/air system the HPR.

thatguy im going to use your exact settings to see how it perfroms on my 5peed. Il probly have to tweak lpr, reg and cap but seems pretty good.
Ill probly go this week or next- first im going to get my dezign bolt.
Also- Are those settings with the dezign open face bolt installed?

Also go to www.markerkits.com for -005 o-rings. they are only $1.00 for 20 and shipping is only around $1.70. better than the dreadly(sp?) ups on the other site you used.

A little update-
HPR- 160psi ( no shootdown)
LPR- 43ish ( no fsdo)
Dwell- 8
Shooting 250 fps. Lazer Beams all day.
