I recently bought the tools to test the lpr and mini-reg, i got the lpr to 59 but i havent figured out how to test/adjust the mini reg pressure. Can anyone give me some info on how to adjust it, thanks.:doc:

If you have the minireg gauge (different than the LPR gauge), you should be able to just screw it in, gas up the A1 and read the pressure. Adjustments to the minireg pressure can be made the same way the velocity is changed (see post right above this).

I haven't got my A1 yet. Is the minireg gauge easy to use?

That tells you how to remove, but how do you drop the pressure do you remove one or several of the springs.

To adjust the minireg pressure, you simply turn the screw on the outside of the minireg housing. This is the same screw that adjusts the velocity of the A1.

When you remove shims (not the springs) from the LPR you decrease the LPR pressure. When you add shims to the LPR you increase the LPR pressure. Just removing or adding shims changes the LPR pressure.

The proper procedure is:

1. Put both gauges on, gas up.
2. Adjust the minireg pressure (velocity screw) close to 270 psi. Shoot 4-5 times each time you adjust the pressure to normalize the pressures in the gun.
3. Check LPR pressure. If it's low then degass and add shims until you reach close to 57 psi. If it's high then degass and remove shims (1-3 psi each) until you reach 57 psi. Each time you gas up to recheck the LPR pressure shoot 4-5 times each time you adjust the pressure to normalize the pressures in the gun.
4. Once the LPR is set then degass and put the gun back together. Load up your favorite balls and chrono your gun. Adjust the velocity to where you need it to be. YUR DUN!

Trigga, the gauges are real easy to use.

Thanks for that, the gauges are great maybe they should come with the marker for the ultimate set up.
