Hey, I have just sold my gat and am looking into getting an Angel 1. I have read some about the hp lp tank issue, and I figure I should be okay with my hp tanks, can't imagine anything going wrong. I am looking at the Ice color from fixmyangel.com. Any pointers, or suggestions about this wonderful marker? I also plan on using my Lucky barrel kit. How is the stock barrel kit?

The stock ASA is very good. No need to change it. The only thing I'm changing is a different feed neck as mine doesn't clamp my Vlocity very tight unless I use tape.

At first my Vlocity wasn't staying held in there very tight, I just adjusted the feedneck clamp, and now mine holds my vlocity in there pretty tight, haven't had a problem with it during game now

i have to tape it with the ccm feedneck on the gat, so that shouldn't be to big of a problem. does the clamp hold it well?

Go with a LP tank! It's less stess on the minireg. Your gun will perform better with the LP. Stock barrels on angels have always been really good.

i'm using a hp tank on my a1. At least I think it's hp, I don't know. It's a worrgas tank with a blue reg. I bought it used and didn't ask whether it was hp or lp. Either way though, i've been using it with no problems on my gun. put just short of 1000 rounds through it the other day on a 4000 psi fill. got 1200 psi left.

I own a GAT and have shot the A1........I have to say, I love my GAT but I love the A1 more. The trigger feels a lot different, and the A1 is so light it's crazy. I was very impressed. I'm also trying to sell my GAT so that I can buy an A1, if that tells you anything.

nice thats exactly what i want to hear. i mean i love my gat, best gun ever, but it was a little tempermental with paint, and the bolt stuck a couple of times. i was able to hold an a1, and i decided its everything you could want from a gun.

Did you hear the story about how Joy (i think it was) show that brittle Hellfire paint? They mad it brittle by storing it in an ice-chest for awhile; they then proved its extreme fragileness by dropping a ball from knee height and watching it break. They then proceded to cautiously load their hoppers full of this stuff and actually mow at high rates of fire with no breaks whatsoever with their A1's...they were actually getting like at least 3 opponents off the break every game because the balls would break once they hit anything.
