Greg Hastings On PS2

Greg Hastings has finally been released for the PS2!!!!
Bought it on Friday and it rocks!!!! the double trigger action can be switched between the R1/R2 or L1/L2 buttons, features like jumping over snakes, diving, breakout/Lane Burning manager. It even has WDP products!! Tons and Tons of Teams along with online multiplayer, and co-op games. With so much packed into this game It'll be hard to list everything. I've yet to try the online multiplayer but I plan to as soon as I get home from work. Anyone Else Buy it over the weekend?

I know, I played xbox version at a friends, Almost bought the xbox but instead opted to wait almost a year and half for the PS2. I so want to try the Online multiplayer but I hate playing with people I absolutely don't know. An AOG Online Crew would be pretty neat.

online thing? you mean the network adapter for the ps2? Not sure, I think you can find one fo $30 or less

if you've got the slim ps2, it should already have a network adapter built in.
you don't pay to play online like you do xbox live.

you've got to set it up on a router going to your DSL or High Speed Modem. Setting it up using the network setup disc ( comes with adapter) is a snap.

Just bought it, and I'd have to say it's a pretty damn good game. Graphics are pretty good, and they got the sound of loading a hopper perfect when ran through surround.

You definately need a network adapter, I picked one of those up for like $30 or so two years back.


I hate how excruciatingly painfull it is to fill a hopper when you first start out. I almost wanted to cry.

By the way, My Online Name is Team DMP, will probably see me there after about 5 or 6pm central.

from what I've read in thier forums, it's under development/testing. They definately want to see this game on PC. Not so for the PSP

Bought it the other day. I had it preordered from EB Games since last November 2005, but EB said it was never coming out of PS2 platform. THEY LIED!!! I bought it at an EB Games store at a mall. It's very good. Has many features. I love the breakout manager, you can tell who you want to shoot off the break and then you can tell them to shoot a specific lane for 20secs. You can cheat sooo easily, I hope it doesn't carry over to my real games haha. If you don't have it yet, Go Get IT!

I don't think anyone online likes me there. I keep pwning everyone there and they keep kicking me out. This sucks too that I created a game and no one, I mean no one is coming in to play. My Screen name is Team DMP so if there is anyone out there that wants to scrimmage find me and battle me!!!

That's awesome, I had no idea it was coming out for PS2. I'm pretty excited... it's been a while since I bought a PS2 game, well, since Socom 2 came out I guess. I wanted an Xbox before, but only for this game, otherwise I'm anti-xbox. I'll also be looking forward to it on PC; the best gaming system.

Just picked it up a few days ago. The double trigger thing is pretty sweet and the map editor is cool. But they got the marker specs all messed up. A Shocker is not faster than an Angel and is not worth $1400. They also made the Angel's in the game sort of low-ball markers. But it's still cool to shoot my exact same gun in a video game.

yea it is fun but spyder xtras dont shoot faster than electras, but i dont care about that i got an angel anyways

I just picked it up recently too and it's a pretty good game. It's proving to be more difficult at times, which is a good thing.

the markers shoot as fast as the sponsors paid for them to shoot :) look at who contributed what to the game and what guns the teams of non gun sponsors shoot. You'll figure out pretty quick why some guns shoot faster than others in the game...

the double trigger thing drives me nuts. I'm using a regular Sony DualShock2 and i get the "Turbo Controller" penalty all the freakin time. Enough to make me stop playing the game.

don't feel bad. I was gettin that a lot at my friend's place. but I was usin a wireless controller and he was usin a baseline gen one. but yeah, might be interested in buyin your copy.

guys im getting the game for christmas and im getting the network adpater on ebay. so all i do it put it on the back on ps2 and run my cable line from my modem into the port on adapter?
aslo do i need the start up disk because im prly getting a used one(which dont include disk)

you will need the disk as it has the software for the network adapter, it also writes a little program onto your Memory Card that contains all your configuration data. You must also be able to configure a network to run a single static IP address in DMZ mode for the PS2. Lot's of differences between routers so I can't really explain how to configure that except most routers have an option for it. Many people have gone through without enabling DMZ, but in my case I had to.

tried the online deal and it was pretty fun... much different than the career mode as you're automatically at full potential as far as your character goes. Fast loading and all. More people def. need to get on though. My character name is $tunna... hope to see you guys on there!

I love this game i have beat it for the x-box 2x and own it for the ps2. the ps2 version is better but am i the only one who finds it more challanging? i blew through the x-box version and i only rented it. im in the mids of beating the game on hard man it just wrong somtimes a guy is at the 50 in the open and your at the 30 or somthing with a shocker and he runs trough your paint and on shot bunkers you lol?? o well only makes you better i guess what i love is my draxxus jersy is in the game lol actualy come to think of it almost all my gear is in the game :P
