ya know.....a few years ago I never would've imagined myself in a desk job, mon - fri working 8-10 hours a day......but family will tend to change things in a man, having to take responsibility for another person makes you change the way you want to live/work.....trust me I was an active guy, and I enjoyed being outside and working with my hands etc.....but raising a kid on your own means you work while they're at school, and you're home every night to tuck them in......BIG difference....

im only working to pay rent and bills, everythign else is fun and games, the girl situation is akward right now, and college life needs to be fun, so i dont have to take the responsibility to tuck kids in :) and my job consists of surfing the web for 4 hours at most in one day and then leaving and going to class.... but now that its summer time, i dont really go to class much anymore, just skip and hope to catch up later.

My children are grown now, but i remember the days. My children's mother (read: ex wife now) brow beat me if I even thought about having fun. Life is good now. I dont know about you guys but, my girlfriend deals with me playing all the time so she can do whatever she wants on the weekends, and because I make money while doing it. OMG you guys have been deprived of the greatest game of all!!!! you never heard of a haffie or a half ball? God it is a great game. You play with a broom stick or a stickball stick or just a round skinny stick, if its not round or too thick its too easy to hit. You play with a half ball or a haffie. Most desired haffie is a pimple ball its made in 2 halves or a haffie brand ball. Now you thought it was hard to hit a wiffel ball with a good pitcher, try hitting half as big a target and with the same moves of a wiffel ball. You have 2 strikes a fould tip can get you out and theres 3 outs. You can feild the same way as with wiffel ball you knock it down befoee it goes pst pitcxhers mound its an out. Then you set marks and past each one is a dubble, tripple, and homerun.

I was brought up playing this game and i thought it was a national thing its been arround as long or longer then wiffel ball. I don't know anyone who doesn't know how to play half ball, so i might of assumed it was a national thing, but i am a bit naieve(sp).

Someone else please tell me they have played or at least heard of half ball.

luckily for the both of us, it seems that these guys are big on bringing their families to events with them.....it'd save so much money if we carpooled, but they want to bring g/f's and kids and stuff with them.....man I'm there to play paintball and win, not be lovey dovey and chase kids around all day.....mine stay home (or at least they aren't anywhere near the field where I have to worry about them).....and of the 7 guys on the team there are 2 others who don't bring their families but I think they've got something going on between them (if you know what I mean) they are ALWAYS together, and they share a ride/room once we get there. So not only do I have to ride alone in my roomie Durango, but I sleep alone too (although that might be for the better)

It's not a regular holiday, so they are making everyone in the plant take a vacation day instead......wtf is up with that crap? I'm actually kinda getting annoyed at the constant forced vacation, either shut the plant down and give us time off, or don't I don't care either way, but don't tell me I have to burn my vacation hours because you don't want to work that day....I've got better things to spend my vacation hours on (ie recovering from the Dallas tournament in 2 weeks after playing all day, and then trying to drive home I'm taking Monday off)

see the trick is to keep your head in your hand at all times and keep it at the angle so it looks like your looking at your monitor, and have you arm in a way it covers your face from the open side of the cubicle, the other sides are closed in so nobody can see from those.
