a4 velocity dies out

hi i just got an a4 from a friend and i used it the first time last weekend. it was working fine but later on, the pressure would drop off. i had air in the tank and hadnt touched the velocity setting at all. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

do you mean the pressure dopped off slowly after a time? That would just be the tank running low.

Put a few drops of Angel oil in the ASA line and dry fire it about 20 times. Could be things are sticking. What size is the tank? How many shot you talking about before drop off? Any air leaks?

There are no air leaks and the 4500/68ci was at 3000psi. It was dropping off right away.

just tried the oil, it was working fine at first but then it happened again. I also noticed that my mini-reg was at 300psi but after 20 or so shots it dropped to 200psi. How do I check the LPR pressure?

It is your LPR Reg. You may need to add shims or it may need a good cleaning and rebuild possibley
