I don't know how it happened.....

....but the softface on my softface bolt is no longer there. There are two small blue pieces of plastic still wedged in there, but the face is gone.

My first question would be, what could have caused this. I would like to prevent it happening again, even though I doubt it will. This seems to be a freak occurance. So while this question is my first it is deffinately the least of my concerns.

My second question would be where can I get a new face. I have seen complete bolts for sale but not just the faces. Please someone tell me that I don't have to buy a bran new bolt, for this one piece of plastic that could possible cost fifty cents to make, package, and ship.

Be careful when using a swab or stick squeegee and never twist them against the bolt when cleaning. you will need to purchase bolt unfortunately.

I will buy your broken bolt from you matt, I want to try somethign but havent been willing to mutilate my own bolt to see if it would work.
