Hello fellow angel one owners, my name is Mike and I am fairly new to paintballing let alone to be a lucky owner of a dust red angel one. i saw a thread with the joy settings and set my gun's setting the same way. i have yet to try it though. the last time i played it on custom settings and soft ramping. with a hp tank because my lp tank is on order. i know this gun can pretty much shoot ropes, ( but i cant yet ) is it because of the trigger settings ?? and if i were to mess with the trigger would it effect anything major ? i have very pudgy hands so what kind of adjustments should i make to shoot a little faster ?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AOG :)

adjusting the trigger wont really make you shoot any faster. you should just adjust it until you feel comfortable with the trigger and like the way it feels. the thing that will really affect how fast you shoot is the settings. with the joy/rage settings it is possible to get 15+ bps (in semi).

thanks for the input. by any chance would you happen to know where i would need to lube the gun ? because a bottle of love juice came with the gun so i assume this gun needs to be lubed frequently .. so far i shot 2500 balls

Put 2-3 drops of Lovejuice in the ASA and dryfire it a dozen times every 2000 shots or so. At 8000 shot it is a good idea to take out the ram, clean it off, re-lube it, and pop it back in.

As far as adjusting the trigger... I found that adjusting the trigger made a huge difference in the rate of fire I was able to obtain. The more comfortable you are with your triger pull, the better you will be able to walk the trigger thus increasing your ROF. I spent a good hour (I'm a bit obsessive compulsive) getting the trigger to its "butter zone" for my liking.

That it too often. That means most guys who seriously play would have to lube their ram 1-2 times a week. I say lube it less often, so there is less chance of nicking orings when pulling out and less chance of accidentally pulling a wire or eye ribbon. 10k shots= drop of oil in lpr (not asa), and 30k=relube ram, lpr, and hpr.

the lpr is where the macro line connects to right ? what about the hpr ? and i would have to take off the macroline correct ? the manual states if i remove the macroline i would have to re-trim it when i reinstall it. is this right ??

No, not usually. You should not have to retrim the macro line. As long as it is still in good condition after removal.

The macroline connects to the bottom of the HPR. The LPR is located inside the gun in the back left tube (gun facing away from you). No need to retrim it after you disconnect it.
