just finished my intellifeed connection to my warp feed. In case anyone is interested in how to connect the warp without stripping critical wiring or possibly voiding the warranty.

I used the present intellifeed cable that comes stock on my fly and snipped the ends that connect to the sight rail adapter. Connected the grey wire to a black one and the white wire to a red one. (I connected these so I would have enough length to reach the warp pc board). All the connections were soldered and then sealed for reliability i dont think regular splices would be durable enough for paintball~the wire was 22gauge. I then bought a 3/32mm mono audio plug at radio shack (which is the one that works with the adapter in the warp pc board) Unscrew the end cap and there is two points to connect the wires I connected the red wire to the small tip which is kind of suspended in the middle of the adapter when you take the cap off and connected the black wire to the bigger rounded bottom connection. After this is done you have to adjust the warp pc board setting slightly. I took all the jumpers for pos/sens off the board and left the negative signal on(which is the one that works for the ir3) and simply set the dwell to ON as shown in the warp manual. (this allows you to adjust the dwell through the intellifeed setting on the ir3 electronics) Then add a 9v to the warp, plug the new connection in, and turn gun to live. Your warp feed will now activate and spin according to the ir3 settings. I set mine to activate at 1 shot and spin for .5 each time but set up as desired.

It works great, doesnt void warranty, and reliable compared the the vibration sensor which has to be adjusted regularly and often moves slightly causing feeding to be unreliable.

This is for anyone that doesnt know the exact procedure to go about this mode. Hope someone finds it useful. if there are any questions i will do my best to answer.

note* i didnt check if someone already describe this mode so sorry if its get repetitive.

I think that's the first time anyone's done it and posted about it here, suggestion tho is that maybe you get a couple of pics and put them in so people can see what you did...

if anyone else has done this and has suggestions to make it better, or "cleaner" put them in as well.

I moved it to a more appropriate place tho.

I was planning on doing the mod... but I was just going to be lazy and buy the intellifeed wire from Angel and extend it to reach the Warp.

The Vibe sensor on the Warp, isn't that bad. For the most part it works very well on my Impulse... on the Angel it might work as well.

-Thanks for moving(didnt realize I should have used this category)

-My angel worked fine with the the warp vibes sensor but the only thing was that sometimes after i battery got low or changed the battery the sensor seemed to lose some of its tuning so the feeding became unreliable but that might just be mine.

I will get some pics up as soon as i get some free time, its pretty clean and takes about 15 min with the right tools/parts. I will also add to my old description so you know what to do where/when.

Im glad this might be useful

Im going to put out detailed intructions, tools required, and pictures as soon as I get the driver for my digital camara. It should be done well enough so anyone can do it themselves after they take a look.

I will repost when its done for those who would like to see more.

you can find a detailed picture show on how to do it on the automag site just change the placement of where the connect is to the board. here's a link.

The one on airgun hotwires the warp to the solenoid wires on the lcd. the only stripping of wires on the ir3 is done on the intellifeed cable which is easily replace and doesnt tamper with critical connections

I've found that my Dark IR3 seems to put out just enough vibration on each shot to trip the Warp sensor.

I got ahold of the inner cable for the intellifeed, and one of these days I'mma try to hardwire it using your instructions, man.

Good job.

Tell me how it goes. I found that the warp spins with the activation but does not spin with the ir3 spin time. so you will have to adjust how long it spins using the dwell on the warp board.

Yeah,

You do have to adjust it on the Warp Dwell.... I've found that two vertical and two horizontal jumpers makes for a pretty good spin time, not too long and not too short.

But yeah, thanks for the FAQ.
