ook i asked this same question a couple days ago about my new A1 not ramping

if you could please clear a couple things up for me that would be great

1. which kick in/drop out/ start delay do i mess with? the soft ramp or hard ramp

im really really really confused about how to get my gun to ramp

in the soft ramp i have ...
Start Delay 2
kick in 6
drop out 4

in hard ramp i have...
start delay 2
kick in 4
drop out 2

what do these have to do with each other and how do they affect my gun ramping in PSP mode or not??

Also would the shot filter have anything do do with my gun not ramping?
i have it at 5%

ya know what here are my settings..tell me whats wrong with them to make my gun not ramp in psp

Mode-psp
valve dwell-6.5
Debounce- 10
Loader Speed-14
Hard Breakout-10sec.
Soft Breakout- 10sec.
RAMP FEATURE
Soft ramp
Start delay-2
Kick in-6
drop out-4

Hard Ramp
Start Delay-2
Kick in- 4
Drop out-2

Shot Filter-5%
ABS-1.25m/secs

Can somone give me some settings that will replace all of those to make my damn gun work..this is really starting to annoy me.

I have not messed around with my ramping modes because I really don't need them but i think that soft/hard break out modes are only in effect for a short period of time...either for 10 seconds only or for full auto untill you let go.

If you want ramping just try the psp/nxl modes if yours works (many people's guns dont)

i have it set to psp mode and the damn thing wont work

this sucks really bad.. i have 5 man cfoa in a week and need a ramping gun. i might just send this thing back to the kid i traded with..i was suppost to send my ego to him tommarrow but if this thing isnt ramping them im forgetting about it...he's getting his gat back

angel1013
09-24-2006, 08:09 PM
ooo k so i just read the manul about the soft/hard ramping and the soft/hard breakout..they only apply to custom semi..they have nothing to do with psp modes or xball or cfoa etc.

angel1013
09-24-2006, 08:13 PM

angel1013
09-24-2006, 08:14 PM

Nope, it does not come with a cable.

Are you trying this dry firing with Air and no paint or are you shooting paint when you try this?

angel1013
09-24-2006, 09:39 PM
so which is it?

Trigga Nometry
09-24-2006, 09:58 PM
From the A1 manual:

Kick in point: This sets the minimum number of trigger pulls per second that must be reached in order for the software to add shots. The range for the start delay is 1 – 20 trigger pulls per second.

Drop out point: This sets the minimum number of trigger pulls per second that must be maintained in order for the software to add shots. The range for the drop out point is 1 - 20 trigger pulls per seconds. Should the number of trigger pulls drop below this rate for more than 1 second the software will no longer add shots until the kick in point has been re-achieved.

To enable any of the ramping features it must be selected from the custom modes menu.

That would tells me that the kick in has to be HIGHER than the drop out.

Also - Are you trying this dry firing with Air and no paint or are you shooting paint when you try this?

Hard Breakout-10sec.
Soft Breakout- 10sec.

how else is the gun gonna know when its been 10 seconds?

You don't have to have your game timer on for it to ramp in custom semi or use a breakout mode. I set my timer to 0:00 the first day I got it since I don't need it and one guy was having problems with thumbing the scroll wheel, causing it to toggle on and off and causing breaks in his shooting. It's probably a non-issue now, but you don't need the timer to ramp.

Just mess around with the settings and make sure you're trying it with paint.

so if my gun is on

soft breakout: 10 secs
hard breakout:10 secs

soft ramp
start delay: 4
kick in: 5 out: 4

soft ramp
start delay: 4
kick in: 5 out: 4

and i put my gun in semi+hr...

it should ramp properly?

Trigga Nometry

inexx - Semi? No. At least that is not how I am reading this: To enable any of the ramping features it must be selected from the custom modes menu. Sounds like you need to be in a custom semi not just semi.

Yeah, it should work. Those are the settings that I'm using and it works.
