The stock LPR is kind of a pain to get out, I suggest (depending on which Angel you have) removing the battery from behind the LPR and pushing it out from behind it. Just use a long rod of any sort to push the LPR out from behind.

<boostmonkey look up from his cup of coffee> "What? Huh? Did someone call me?"

Do what they said. Technix is right on the money. If you try to pull the LPR body out from the front you risk scratching the inside diameter of the body where the LPR pistons slides. If you remove the battery and push the whole LPR out from behind you'll be safe. Also you won't need the LPR removal tool to pull the piston out. Use a straight shot or something similar to push with.

Once you have the old LPR out, installing the JDS is just as easy as Rangerjoe said. Don't overtighten it. That will make it hard to remove if you ever want to in the future. If you do go to remove it, remember that the outer body of the JDS will unscrew from the back portion and it will fall apart. You have to make sure you are unscrewing the base and not just the outer sleeve.

A video isn't a bad idea, I might even make one next time I am installing a JDS. These guy's instructions should be all you need to get through it safely though.

Boost forgot to tell you about the gauge! That thing is the bomb for setting this up properly. It is a no brainer when you use it.

By adding on the Lpr to the gun, does it become a part that needs constant tinkering? or set it and forget it?

Oh no, the JDS LPR is definitely "set it and forget it". That's what's great about it, it always maintains the exact pressure you set no matter what. When you are making changes to your gun and tuning it, it is so easy to adjust the cycling pressure up or down a couple psi with the external adjustment.

Ok, It's finally done. it was not to bad. I had no trouble removing the stock lpr. one tip for the JDS install. you do not need the pin that locks the stock lpr.remove the pin. Use alot of grease!! those passages will chew up your o rings. I chopped up two in the first try. then used the orings off the stock and the JDS went in much easier with plenty of grease. setting it up was so freeaking easy with Boost's gauge! I'm talking "REALLY EASY" You Rock MATT!! You guys should get that gauge. now to chrono and start ripping!! Peace!!! Dog House!!!!!
