I saw it, looks like something I won't be needing anytime soon... does it have anything on the stock board? Maybe more than one custom mode, but how many do you need? And if you can't use the OLED, then forget it...

This board seems to be a step down from the stock board.

I think i have a idea on how it will work, the A1 board is split it two halfs isnt it? Cause i think the OLED screen is removable. So just remove the OLED from the stock board and add the TAG board and bam you have your OLED screen but new board with modes, startup logos...etc.
Thats what im thinking but i maybe wrong.

Ya right! Want to buy a wooden bridge in Mexico. The cheetah V3 is taking forever to get the code right, please pay us now and you can tell us what is wrong later. But.... We got an A1 board for 160 bucks we need you guys to pay us for so that YOU can work the bugs outta for us. Sounds like weather men, sunny today with a 70% chance of showers. But if it snows we got it wrong, sorry hope it didn't screw you up to bad!
On the OLED swap out to this board. Ain't happening ether. The main microchip is what is driving the thing. The two handshake and are your interface for setting the board code. That is way beyond what TAG can handle considering the V3 snafu!

Hard to say with no pics of it and limited info.
If you can't use your OLED with it then it's useless to me.

I still say its dumb. the A1 board can be updated through your own comp and Im sure new modes will be introduced, and it looks like people could settle without the screen in older angels (w/ the tadao and pred boards) but no-one wants to give up their OLED (I wouldnt want to either) so tag has their hands full, the board better be damn good AND make use of the OLED

Thank you mavrick, my thoughts exactly. Absolute waste of time and money. The stock board is endlessly programmable AND you can update at home. What more could you want. Want the OLED? Stock only. Want backing from one of the largest company with the best techs? Stock only... :)

Like all forums its only a vocal minority that is actually having problems with their A1's. They have moved over 3K A1's, if they were really as problamatic as they say there would be a lot more people bitching and moaning. As for was it worth it? Damn straight it was, i got a fairly early one and it ripped straight out of the box.

the board wouldn't have bounce issues! and a microswitch.
but maybe i only install a switch to the stockboard. then the stock board would be great!

One of the reasons I moved from my Matix to the A1 is to get away from microswitches. The current A1 trigger mechanism is far superior to microswitches.

I agree, i didnt post my ideas or this saying that i am ever giving up my stock board for this one. AS i would only get a MT tadao or whatever they may have up there sleeves.
As for the cheetah V3 i agree also i ordered one and they sent me a email 4 months later that the V3 was still being finshed so i asked for the old code, big mistake on my part as the thing sucked nut$ bad! i like my V35 board better.

True, but to he his own, i loved my G7 flys board, but when the tadao came out for it the feel of the micro felt better. Just my 2cents.

Thread closed any duplicate threads will be deleted. Once the board is actually available and in the hands of players, we wiil re-open the thread.
