my conquest :(

i sent my gun off to fix dropoff and honestly there is none.. i looked at my gauge on my conquest and when i shoot around 9-12bps the gauge goes from 650 clear down to 200 psi half way through shooting... THE TANK IS MY PROBLEM!

How can i fix this? or what do i need to do?
Madness is in a week and I need to be able to shoot more hten 2-3 bps. LOL

That sounds a little crazy...ive got my armageddon set on 500 output and when I rip 10 it only drops a little..and I thought macdevs had the highest flow. Sounds like you need to clean it out and re-grease everything.

sounds like it's time to rebuild the reg or clean it at least......that's some serious drop off on a tank reg

the short answer is to set your pressure higher so that you don't experience the drop off.....I started with my AIR high, and slowly worked myself down to a pressure where I don't get drop off, but at least I was always getting good shots.....once you find the point where you're either not getting tank drop off anymore or velocity drop off either, then go back up about 50 psi or so, and you should be good to go.

yeah but i dont want to temporarily fix it like that, + turning my tank up will reduce the amount of shots i get per fill, correct?

theoretically yes.....if you turn up your output you should see less shots per fill.....

Clean and oil the reg, that will solve your shootdown problem gauranteed
