well i got to use my A1 for the first time today, and WOW i had zero problems. first i aired it up, no leaks thats good. I got it all setup and loaded some balls into my Halo. i did notice 1 broken ball in my hopper. but i wasnt sure which so i just used it anyways, i was shooting chronic, and it was a little loose in my .691 back. took a few shots, noticed it was shooting a little hot, so i turned it down and went back to ripping paint. okay, that one broken paintball broke while shooting and messed my barrel up, i just shot a few more and good as new accuracy had returned. i put 1500 balls through the marker and had 1 break, and 1 issue with me turning my eyes off by accident i think, still shot fine. I was using the Rage/Joy settings as well. i was completely happy with the performance, and i did notice a little bit of an air hog situation, but it wasnt THAT bad, and it was a loose paint match i cant give an accurate efficiency rating, i was only getting 2500-2800psi fills. i just topped it off every 2nd game.
the other angel one shooter at the field (One_Eye) was having alot of issues, the bolt being stuck forward, the batteries are being eaten alive, and his is a total air hog... but when it was working fine for a while me and him just dominated.
well its time to give my baby a wiping, and put her away till tomorrow.
P.S. I had no issues with the Empire Fuel LP tank for those that might have wondered.

Finally got mine and went to play yesterday too, and even thou I had no specific problem with it, I guess I'm so used to my DM that it's taken me some time getting used to it... trigger's very nice and I haven't even adjusted it yet, just a bit disappointed on the accuracy dept., the place I went is field-paint-only, so it's not like I had good grade stuff, but I shot that paint before on the DM, and it was fine... I'll try some evil or something next week... little on the noisy side too... well, better stop before I get flammed here...

Used mine this weekend and was forced to shoot Diablo Nightmare...which is it was...mine is spoiled and like only X.O. Industries Menace. Oddly enough, the '05 Mantis Ego that my homie was using did just fine with the Nightmare. Oh well. I don't mind loud since I'm really loud (Ask Luigi) on the field anyways.
I noted that the intimidation factor is VERY high with the A1...everyone's scared of them.

"Loud" isn't even the word I'd use to describe you, but nevermind  ... I went to RNT and it seems mine's not too fond of that paint either :puzzled: ... got quite a few breaks and accuracy left a bit to be desired :wall:  ... on the light side, the reactions were very favorable, lots of people had not seen the red one, that I personally think it's a lot sexier in person and much nicer than the black dust... Need to get some Menace, test some different paint... and I don't mind it loud much, I'm just used to the DM...
I am curious to know what your settings are to include your pressures? Also, what barrel and bore sizes you are using. With the brittle paint Rage and Joy shot last weekend and then the 2 cases of paint I shot yesterday which had been left in my vehicle for almost 2 months and only had 3-4 barrel breaks.

Mine eats batteries and air, but shoots like a champ. Also has more kick then I like, but it wasn't setup when I got it, and I don't have gauges.

I played all day sunday as well, and i had 0 problems again. it shot like a dream, and it does have that intimidation factor. mine was ball on ball accurate, getting people through small holes and stuff. i dont notice the loudness either, people were telling me its pretty quiet.
Well i was shooting some chronic which seemed pretty brittle, it broke from 5 feet drop, i had 1 barrel break in 5000 balls. I was using the .691 all weekend. I went through 1 battery too, right at the end when i came home i checked it and it was dead. Bob, im using the joy/rage but dont know my LPR or mini-reg pressure.
i heard the bolt stick once for like a half a second. it was while i was crawling on the ground of all things...
anyways, i love it... supposed to go play in toronto next weekend, then im gonna tear it down and clean, grease and oil it.

My first shot has been very low, even thou I have the Joy/Rage settings, I don't know why would my bolt stick so much....

No bolt stick problems here, hopefully none in the future (knock on wood) but I was getting only about 1 hopper and 3 pods off a 91/4500 (field was only filling to 2500) That's still horrible compared to my intimidator and for such a massive tank.

How long have you had it? At first mine was horrible for air efficiency, now it it is slowly creeping up to have really amazing air efficiency.

I've had it for about 3 weeks but up until yesterday only shot it at trees.
I am getting 4 pods and hopper with a 4000psi fill and still have 2400psi left. 7-9 pods and hopper with a 68/4500 is the best you are going to see. If you want the marker to be easy on paint you have to give up some efficiency.

Yeah but I was filling after every bag... that's ridiculous. My shoebox gets beter efficiency then this bad boy.
I would go get a full fill fill and then see what it does. Your only actually getting 1500psi of usable AIR and for 500 shots that would be about right

Well tried fixing my bolt problem but just can't seem to get it, kind of upsetting when you have to play while holding the door with one hand the whole game... and for something that expensive, tape just doesn't look good on it. Called the shop I bought it from to get an exchange or refund, but apparently they said it's out of their's hands and WDP has to take care of it.
Oh well just stick with my ION I guess!

yeah that ion was ripping anyways, so cant really complain.. was still an awesome day on the field.
Get it in to the nearest warranty center and they will make it all better.

Well, finally got to shoot my angel 1 this afternoon. I had to borrow a tank from somebody since I haven't gotten one yet. Anyways, It shot great. Accurate, fast, not bad on the air consumption too. Used a high pressure tank since that's all the guy I borrowed it from had and I went through about 700 rounds on a 4000 psi fill and had 1500 left over after I was done. Don't really know if that's good or bad but I can't complain. So I just wanted to report that I love this gun and I can't wait until I have my own tank to shoot with it.
